Dharma Initiative Announcement #8 – Bloop!

Just got this.

As a reminder, this is only good for a short time (29 hours as of this posting, and counting), so access it as soon as you can!

Hello Dharma Friends,

In less than a week, LOST season 5 premieres! You’re hopefully excited. We’re heavily medicating ourselves to overcome our anxiety.

What you’ll be seeing on premiere night is, first, a special clip show designed to get you back up to speed after our eight months off the air. The clip show is followed by episodes one and two of this season. While we did not write them to air as a two hour block, we are happy that you are getting to see both episodes on the first night. Episode one entitled “Because You Left” picks up where the finale left off, and the second episode “The Lie” is a Hurley-centric episode. Honestly, we’re very excited for you to see them.

Speaking of the Hurley episode, this week we’ve got a special sneak peak at a scene from that episode just for you.

We’ve also put together some photos from a recent photo shoot set to the music Michael Giacchino wrote specially for our 2008 Comic-Con appearance. (Actually, we didn’t put them together, but our awesome DSA team did — and a good job they did, too.)

Click on the link and enter the password to check it out. Until next week…

Peace,

Damon and Carlton

Dharma Initiative #6 – Ajira Airways

Dharma Initiative #6 is up for the next 48 hours or so, and you can get there by hitting the website and typing in the password: emal

If you don’t have time to watch, there are a couple of silly questions (like about Geronimo Jackson’s potential for a reunion), and a couple of things to look forward to this season.

We’ll finally find out the reason Jack’s dad is wearing those white tennis shoes… I always thought that was odd.

The four-toed statue? Yep. You’ll find out more about it in Season 5, and even more in Season 6.

Plus! At the end, a mysterious hint about Ajiraairways.com

Dark Tower Movie Coming

A movie of the Dark Tower series of novels from Stephen King is in the planning stages!

Damon Lindelof is interested in doing it, but says:

“And the idea of doing that at the same time Carlton (Cuse, co-producer) and I are bringing Lost to a close is simply not viable. There are always Dark Tower conversations, but the figuring out of what this will look like as a movie has not begun.”

He added: “If The Dark Tower were in the right hands, I would love to see seven movies executed just right. But you have to get people to see the first one to get them to come and see the second one.
