What the heck is going on with Desmond? I have an idea, but there are a few theories that I’d like to go over first.
Hurley shot one down right away… Desmond is NOT the Hulk, despite is lack of pants. And thank goodness for that anyway, it would be pretty disappointing for Desmond to go all “Bill Bixby

Y’know what I don’t fully understand is that the producers said this show wasn’t a sci-fi show, but it seems like the only realistic explanations are sci-fi related. I have nothing against sci-fi, it’s just that it’s interesting to see the producers try to nay-say it, when in reality, it appears that’s what we’re dealing with.
I heard this theory after last week’s episode as well…it’s interesting, and worth watching. I guess it also means that he won’t be turning up on 24 this upcoming season… :)

Don’t get me wrong. I like Lost and watch it every week. But I think we’re seeing what the Disney folks were worried about when it was first pitched to them: it’s turning all Twin Peaks-y.
